The Japan Karate Association Headquarters – the holy land of Karate that is continually filled with sweat, tears, and hope. What type of training is being conducted? Why are the instructors of the headquarters so strong?
Fuyuhiko Nishi, the director who created movies like “Kuro-Obi” and “High Kick Girl!,” closed-in on the secrets of the Japan Karate Association’s Karate in a 3 part film.
1) The Japanese National Team members were closely followed for half a year during their preparation and training to show their true conditions and stories.
2) The annual Spring and Fall Joint Training Camps held at the headquarters were filmed. The headquarter instructors, admired by Karate-Ka throughout the world, had their seminars filmed individually.
3) The chief instructor, Masaaki Ueki, explains his techniques. The secrets of the 75-year-old master who devoted his life to training are revealed.
