In my TEDx Talk titled - “Social Entrepreneurship: Creating a world of good”, I present my perspective on how social distancing measure, despite being limitations, have inspired people to find virtual avenues for giving back to the community. I share how the “Great Resignation” phenomenon is one of the contributing factors for people to pivot to finding work with a purpose. In conclusion, to inspire the youth to embark on their own social entrepreneurship journey, I introduce the concept of “Human Library” and my own social initiative “Art: Connect” (www.connect-art.org). Aanya is extremely passionate about social entrepreneurship and founded her own youth organisation. Despite all the social distancing taking place over the last two years, Aanya believes that this pandemic has sparked a revolution in Singapore, with more young individuals stepping up to give back to the community.
