Portrait artist, art historian and instructor Kathryn E. Klauber has received academic recognition for her studio art and for teaching studio art and art history. Her work has been widely exhibited, and her narrative portraits are contained in public and private collections throughout the United States and South America. She has presented lectures in art history at Rice University, the University of St. Thomas, the Houston Museum of Natural Science, the McNay Art Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the Pearl Fincher Museum and the Jung Center of Houston. She has also lectured as an independent historian in art and museum-related themes in Rice's Advanced Placement Summer Institute. Ms. Klauber holds an MEd in art education with a specialization in the art museum from the University of Houston. |
