Learn The Major Scale On Guitar - Lead Guitar Lesson #3 |
|
This is video three of the Lead Guitar Quick-Start Series. In this lesson, we will cover the Major Scale, which is the foundation for other scales we will be learning later in this series. The major scale is a seven-note scale, and the major scale shape covered in this lesson is played over two octaves.
First, you’ll learn how to play a basic major scale shape and then you'll have a chance to use it over a simple jam-track. It's important to memorize where the root notes are, so you can emphasize them in your playing.
