Hiding GRUB Menu in Arch Linux

Use the following commands to hide the GRUB Menu

1. sudo nano /etc/default/grub
2. GRUB_FORCE_HIDDEN_MENU="true"
3. sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
4. sudo nano /etc/grub.d/31_hold_shift

Download the file and copy its contents in the terminal

5. sudo chmod a+x /etc/grub.d/31_hold_shift
6. sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg

then restart the system and you will notice that the GRUB menu is hidden.. Just press and hold shift key while booting to enter the GRUB menu
