Amazon Fire HD Tablet with Echo Show Mode - Echo Show Mode Without Dock

The Amazon Fire HD Tablet (8 inch or 10 inch model, it doesn't matter), can behave just like an Echo Show with the new Echo Show mode. What's more, you don't even need the Echo Show dock that Amazon is trying to sell you.

What I can tell you is that you'll need a 7th generation (or higher) Amazon Fire HD Tablet and 5.6.2.0 version of their OS. Once you have that, you'll be able to use your Fire HD Tablet in Echo Show Mode.

Echo Show Mode on your Fire HD tablet is very nice, even if the microphone isn't the best far-field mic you'll ever use on an Amazon product. I love the visual interface that I'm given through Show Mode.
