Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed on Monday that a war-ending peace deal had been reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the ongoing Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Russian peacekeepers will be deployed along the front line in Nagorno-Karabakh, and the ceasefire would start on Nov. 10 at midnight, Moscow time, according to Putin. The agreement "will set up necessary conditions for long-lasting and full-scale settlement of the crisis over Nagorno-Karabakh." Putin said. Internally displaced persons and refugees will be allowed to return to Nagorno-Karabakh, and exchange of war prisoners, other detainees and exchange of the dead will take place.
