In this video I'll show how to draw realistic fur in pastels whilst working on this Cockerpoo drawing. When drawing fur in pastels there are some key processes to creating depth to the portrait. The layering and pencil technique are vital not just for soft, curly fur but any fur texture. Not enough layers or adding layering in the incorrect order can result in a more flatter, two dimensional portrait. I hope the tips and techniques in this video are helpful =).
