LEYENDA BALLET FOLKLORICO is a dance group based in Corona California. We produce shows of all sizes and we can be HIRED to perform in media events, TV Shows, Theatrical productions and parties. We serve the Los Angeles California and surrounding counties. LEYENDA shows are infused with refinement and stylization to fit into the most demanding scenic shows, world festivals, hollywood movies or TV Shows. Still, LEYENDA manages to capture the original Ballet Folklorico essence of strength, vitality, and intense passion of mexican dances. LEYENDA dancers push their body to their limit to impress audiences who have nicknamed this ballet folklorico group “Anthropology in Motion”. Their intense performance, and innovative format of their interactive shows make for an unforgettable impression of mexican ballet folklorico dance, here in the USA, China two times, France, Italy, Dubai 3 times, and Mexico several.

LEYENDA has been featured in a documentary of their first Ballet Folklorico dance tour to China 2009 and has appeared on TV more than 28 times in the past 3 years and featured in Newspapers from USA, China and Dubai as well as TV stations of USA, Asia, India and Dubai. LEYENDA has been awarded multiple times receiving “Artist of the month” “Vision Award” “Image Award” and a Government of LA Commendation.

LEYENDA BALLET FOLKLORICO is a group specializing in dances from different regions of Mexico; each featuring different outfits, music and dance style. LEYENDA ballet folklorico is a research based group. Our dances are based in ethnological and anthropological studies.
