The following video is of a robotic simple prostatectomy for the management of massive BPH (a very enlarged prostate due to benign prostatic hyperplasia). The video is played at an increased speed to allow an entire procedure to be viewed.

The are several options for the management of BPH including robotic and laser surgery. Additional minimally invasive treatments include Rezum and URoLift. The choice of treatment depends ultimately on prostate characteristics as well as patient wishes.
