The inspiration behind this video:

With the Captain America: Brave New World footage from CinemaCon featuring "Lots of close-quarter combat and various action shots," as well as Isaiah Bradley and other characters being used as sleeper agents, the movie seems to be evoking a Captain America: The Winter Soldier feel. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Mackie endorsed that sentiment. The actor said, "It made more sense for it to be more of a grounded espionage action movie as opposed to aliens and airplanes coming through portals and s---."

Mackie even called what Marvel is doing with the upcoming Captain America movie and new MCU entries a reset for the franchise, saying, "I think with these movies, you're getting a clear, new branding of what Marvel is headed towards the same way they did with Captain America: The Winter Soldier." The image of Captain America walking through a dark corridor in street clothes evokes that grounded feel. Cap's new suit, which is a darker blue instead of Sam Wilson's classic white suit, is another nod to The Winter Soldier, raising excitement for next year's Captain America: Brave New World.
