LeVar Burton of Reading Rainbow visited the Central Library in KC on Fri. Feb. 18, 2011, to read to kids from the Derrick Thomas Academy. He was joined by local author Shane Evans and some representatives from the Storling Dance Theater. Burton was in town to speak for the Culture House at Johnson County Community College for Black History Month, and he decided to stop by the Library on the way there!
