Dick Oliver was the first to report the explosion at WTC 1, which was picked as a distortion in his camera. Jim Ryan was not in agreement with him and insisted that it was a plane, but Oliver was interviewing people who only saw the explosion. The rest of the story, IMO, belongs in "Ripley's Believe it or Not".

Good Day New York is the morning show of Fox 5, (also known as WNYW), and launched on August 1, 1988. Jim Ryan was the first anchor of WNYW, from 1988 to 2005.

Scott Meyers was also recording just minutes after the impact at WTC 2. The video first showed up on Youtube in 2006. There was a short segment from it on HBO in 2002.
Needless to mention, there was plenty of time for editing this bazaar scene.
