Turkey has been gaining lots of attention recently due to the collapse of the Turkish lira, the uncontrollable inflation rise and the authoritarianism by president Tayyib Erdogan firing several central bank governors.
But Turkey's economic woes aren't new, and as I will show you in this video, the country has been carrying structural issues for decades, driving a nation full of hardworking, smart and unbelievable people, to lose a once in a century opportunity to regain the greatness and influence lived during the Ottoman Empire era.
