Hi yogis,

This Yin Yoga class has the intention to boost your immune system and release stress of any kind. Do this practice when you want to release the body of stagnant energy and support & strengthen your immune system.

Yin Yoga can facilitate the flow of the lymphatic fluids through our body which can help us with overall immune system health.
We will be focusing on inversions with the head below the heart, as these increase the circulation & the lymphatic movement in the body. As as a result you may feel more space in the chest & lungs, inviting more healing breath into the body.

What is Yin Yoga?
Yin Yoga is a meditative practice that aims to balance out the yang energy in our lives. Although Yin Yoga uses many of the same poses as Hatha or Vinyasa yoga, the poses focus on the connective tissues of the body, such as fascia, tendons, and ligaments, rather than the muscles.

There are 3 primary principles of Yin Yoga:
1. Find your edge
2. Be still
3. Hold the pose
