Ethan’s speech is about the issue of using sensationalisation in today's journalism and why it is an undesirable practise. He hopes that the audience becomes vigilant and critical consumers of journalism from that point on and aware of the signs readers being manipulated. Ethan is an overseas AS student. He was Managing Editor of the school newspaper from his school in Hong Kong and is a staff writer for non-profit news outlet redefy and Editor for the Cardiff STEM magazine.
