Calculating molar mass is the focus of this video. Indeed, many students require help calculating molar mass. Additionally, calculating molar mass is a fundamental problem in all chemistry classes. To calculate molar mass it is first necessary to know how to find the atomic mass of each element in a molecular formula. Remember the atomic masses of each and every element are found on the periodic table of the elements. Atomic mass and molar mass share the same value (number) but the units for molar mass are grams per mole (g/mole).
