6.3 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Hindu Kush, In Afghanistan, Tremors Felt In North India.
A 6.3-magnitude earthquake jolted Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan at a depth of 190 kilometers on Saturday.
A powerful earthquake hit the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan and tremor the whole of north India, including Delhi-National Capital Region, the National Centre for Seismology said. NCS Director, Operations, told that the 6.3 magnitude quake hit the region around 5:10 p.m.


"The tremors were felt in several parts of norther India including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand," Gautam said.

No report has been received so far.

The Hindu Kush region is prone to earthquakes, Gautam added.
