Rameca Vincent Leary, Ph.D., and her guests discuss the life and legacy of Dr. Clarence Morgan, a broadcasting pioneer who made innovations in radio and who was also a champion for civil rights. Known as the “Hoosier Schoolmaster of the Air”, Dr. Morgan created and produced the first educational radio news program for children and trained the first African American radio announcer in Indiana. Guests include his son, Dr. Thomas Morgan, retired from the University of Central Florida; Dr. Mary Myers, Regent University faculty; and, via telephone, Regent University professor and interim dean Dr. Stephen Perry.
