PUSH, PULL, HANG, DRAG, JUMP, RUN, CRAWL, LIFT, CLIMB All forms of exercise are beneficial to both the body and the mind. However, there are some workouts that go above and beyond, emphasizing several muscle groups, full-body coordination, and mobility, and may lessen the chance of injury. That's a lot of work! But that sums up functional fitness wonderfully. Strength training is used to improve balance and ease of everyday functioning. |
