Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick has congratulated Jurgen Klopp on the Liverpool manager's imminent signing of Spain midfielder Thiago Alcantara.

Flick described Thiago as 'a top player but also a sensationally good guy' and revealed he tried to change his mind about leaving the German and European champions. Instead, the 29-year-old is set to join Liverpool and Klopp.
