In a nationally televised address, Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant called out Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the failure to declare post-war plans in Gaza. Gallant said that he completely opposes using the Israeli military to control or rule over Gaza. Netanyahu shot back and said that the operation will not stop until Hamas is defeated and that Hamas would not let any other civilian administration manage Gaza. Now joining Gallant in criticising Netanyahu is War Cabinet Minister Benny Gantz. Gantz also reached out to US Senator Lindsey Graham and US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan in a bid to reset Israel-US ties.
