The term ‘unprecedented’ is probably the one most used within the context of COVID-19, and the effects have been felt by educational institutions, teachers, learners, and assessment bodies around the world. This has led to even greater inequalities of learning; teaching being delivered in different ways including online, via television and over the radio; assessment being delivered remotely; and creativity and innovation springing up in all areas of the educational landscape. In this panel discussion Karen Momber, Evelina Galaczi and Ricardo Morales discuss which changes might become permanent, whether attitudes towards how teaching and assessment are delivered may change longer-term, and what the long-term impact of COVID-19 might be.
