BTW, the definition of a D-GIRL IS AS FOLLOWS: (Thanks for a good comment bluesun) D-Girl is short for "Development Girl". It's a derogatory term for newbies in the business. The stereotype of a D-girl is a 22-24 y/o college grad who is cute and is brought in to "find and develop storylines" but in reality is just eye-candy for more senior development execs. Outside Hollywood a D-girl would be kinda like an intern. Chris insults her by calling her this. But also you can tell by her outrage that deep down she knows she has limited power even as a "vice president" so the insult cuts pretty deep.
