Everyone lokes the smooth feeling and sound of well played Bossa Nova Grooves. If you want to learn how to play authentic brazilian Bossa Nova Guitar patterns, this is the right place.

I'll show you 5 Bossa Nova rhythms on guitar, that you can use in every Latin song. Some are even suitable for fast Samba. I'll show each example at fast and slow tempo, so you can follow along eaily. But of course I'll also explain each Bossa Nova guitar rhythm note for note, slow and easy.

Bossa Nova Patterns guitar can be pretty hard to play for non Brazilians. They use a lot of syncopation. The chords are usually already played before beat one, which can make it rather confusing. In my Bossa Nova guitar lesson, I'll teach you how exactly those syncopations work, how to count and most importantly how to feel them.

I'll also be teaching you some really cool sounding and authentic brazilian Bossa Nova chord progressions on guitar. They use interesting chords and voicings, often diminished chords substitute for altered chords or are used as passing chords.

I'll train you to be able to play a great Bossa Nova rhythm guitar, that never sounds European, but is the real deal! Bossa Nova rhythms are an essential must know for every aspiring jazz guitarist and need to be in your repertoir. It's part of Latin Jazz guitar and you need to know it, if you want to play with other jazzers. So go learn your Bossa rhythm patterns :-)

I know there are many Bossa patterns guitar tutorials out there. Some are good, most suck, because people play the American or European pseudo Bossa. I had the pleasure to leanr from my teacher, who was the guitarist for Toninho Horta, a reknowm brazilian guitarist and composer. He taught me the authetic way to play Bossa Nova guitar rhythm.
