The next line of strong to severe storms enters Iowa's western counties between 2 and 3 p.m., lines up along I-35 between 4 and 5 p.m. and exits the state's eastern counties between 6 and 7 p.m. All severe hazards are possible including a few strong tornadoes, hail in excess of 2" in diameter, winds up to 80 mph and pockets of 3-5" rain totals, which does include what has fallen in the last 24 hours. There is a chance that Tuesday morning's activity could inhibit this afternoon's potential, but err on the side of caution.
