On Thursday 7 June 2018, Department of Education at University of York, hosted inaugural lectures for Professor Paul Wakeling and Professor Vanita Sundaram on topic Education and Social Justice: Investigating gender-based violence and social mobiliy. Paul presented on 'Can universities be an 'engine of social mobility;? and Vanita presented on 'Tacking sexism, sexual harassment and violence in education.
