Man City could have scored even more, but great efforts from Phil Foden, Riyad Mahrez and Joao Cancelo either went narrowly wide, were deflected by a defender or were stopped heroically by Hugo Lloris. Zack Steffen was not busy in the Manchester City goal, but the USMNT goalkeeper did make a fingertip save on an effort from Giovani Lo Celso.
