There's a new hidden gem in Echo Park, behind Bar Flores at 1543 Sunset Blvd. A mural by J.W. Pippen and Nicholas Knudson now graces the wall of the parking lot behind the bar, the entrance of which is on Laguna Avenue. The team behind Wolf & Crane whiskey bar (which also features works by Pippen) in Little Tokyo recently converted what used to be Barragan's into a trio of eateries, highlighted by Bar Flores.
