video thumbnail
The Uganda Bureau of Statistics says all is set for the 2024 Housing and Population Census exercise, which starts tomorrow. For districts like Bukedea, which have been affected by flooding, UBOS says enumeration will still go on. UBOS Executive Director Chris Mukiza says enumeration will only be carried out between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. The census, running from 10th to 19th May, is intended to gather Uganda's social and demographic data for proper government planning.
