アン・マレーは、夫と 幼児の息子との家族生活と キャリアを両立させるプレッシャーに 苦しんでいた。ある日 箱の中のカセットテープ類の中に 彼女の気持ちを 表現した曲に 出くわした。残念ながら、カセットには 作家の名前であるランディ・グッドラムしかなかったが、彼女のプロデューサーは 電話帳で 彼の名前を調べ、彼女は 彼の歌を録音することができた。そして それは 彼女の アメリカで 2番目の #1ヒットとなり、今でも 彼女自身のお気に入りである。

This was the first hit written by Randy Goodrum, a Nashville songwriter and keyboard player.
Anne Murray was struggling with the pressures of juggling her career and her family life with her husband and her toddler son. One day she was going through a box of tapes when she came across a song that expressed just how she was feeling. Unfortunately, only the writer's name, Randy Goodrum, was on the assette but her producer researched his name in the phone book and she recorded his song. It became her second American #1 and to this day it remains the favorite of her own recordings.
This won the 1978 Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Performance.
