Reframing the Criminal Legal System from a Critical Race Theory Perspective |
|
Our Spring Dialogue was held virtually on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Students, employees, and the community had an opportunity to get an understanding of CRT, away from the dramatized representations in the media. A specific focus was a discussion of criminal justice and the legal system. Almost 70 participants were able to learn how decisions are made and how the public can influence those decisions through a racial equity lens and what practices government agencies, schools, and the community can implement.
