technically 뱁새 means “Korean crow-tit,” but there’s a phrase in Korean which is “뱁새가 황새 걸음을 걸으면 가랑이가 찢어진다,” translated as “if a crow-tit walks like a stork, it will break its legs.” The meaning is that you’ll ruin yourself if you try to imitate someone better than you.
포 세다 refers to a recent cultural phenomenon commented on by the media, accusing this generation of having “given up” on various things (love, happiness, buying a house, getting a job etc).
