Hannah Lowe is an acclaimed poet whose latest collection 'The Kids' won Costa Book of year in 2021.

It draws upon her experiences as a teacher in a London sixth form college and memories of her own childhood.

Around 2,500 people gathered in east London in July 2022 for three days of socialist meetings, debates and events at the Marxism 2022 festival.

They listened and engaged with talks by striking workers, Jeremy Corbyn, Tariq Ali, Hannah Lowe, Yanis Varoufakis, Janet Alder and many others.
