Sperm motility means the movement of the sperms. Sperms have to travel 10 cm into the fallopian tube. Sperm deposited into the vagina travels into the fallopian tube to penetrate the egg. Poor sperm motility can cause male infertility. Although the spermatogenesis process is taking place but the speed of sperms is slow or during ejaculation, sperms are dead.
