A Finks bikie, who was fatally shot in Sydney's western region last month was bid farewell in a traditional outlaw manner. The funeral procession featured a long line of revving motorcycle engines escorting his coffin. Jamie “Jay” Goodworth was identified as the victim of a targeted shooting in Sydney's west. The 32 year old , was dropped off into the emergency ward of the Liverpool Hospital but died just after 1am on Saturday 24th February 2024 after having been shot twice. Goodworth, from Mount Druitt, arrived at the hospital at 12.53am on Saturday with two gunshot wounds that were so severe that medical staff were unable to identify him. Despite being rushed into emergency surgery, and a team of doctors operating on him Goodworth died of his injuries. Besides being a finks MC member, he had been a longtime player for the Budgewoi Bulldogs rugby league team on the Central Coast and was known to teammates as 'Farrah'.
