First Newsbeat reports on Radio 1 of the car crash that killed Princess Diana in 1997. Taken from Felix Da Housecats Essential Mix which was aired from 2am to 4am. Annie Nightingale took over following 4am where it was announced that Diana had died.Radio 1 along with the rest of the British media, took a more somber approach to their programming throughout the following days.
