Neuroscientist Explained "The Power of Mudras"
#neuroscientist #poweofmudras #mudras #andrewhuberman A potent tool for self-care and empowerment in yoga is the usage of Mudras. The goal of yoga is to bring oneself inward. Mudras provide us the opportunity to turn within and refuel. The use of hand motions in meditation with specific intentions of channeling your body's energy flow is known as Mudras. Welcome everyone, in today's video; we’re going to look at Neuroscientist Explained the Power of Mudras Science is defined as "the study of natural phenomena by observation, theoretical justification, and experimentation, or the knowledge resulting from such study." Neuroscientist Explained the Power of Mudras Mudras are deliberate bodily gestures that most frequently, though not always, involve the hands. According to the positions' proponents, they provide insight, potent healing, and other mind-stuff stabilizing abilities. These methods have been generally disregarded in today's modern postural yoga in favour of the asanas, which are more culturally accepted "exercises" because of their focus on the outside, the visible. In most yoga schools, the nuance and internal viewpoint of Mudra have been reduced to occasional use as a meditation tool, at best. Recently, two books were released, which I hope will encourage more research into and use of the science of Mudra. Both books are titled Mudras: The Sacred Secret and Mudras for Healing and Transformation, respectively. The findings of such research warrant further examination by the yoga and medical communities using the scientific method to look for theoretical justifications for how Mudra "function." This article aims to start a discussion while offering justifications and tips on how to include Mudras into yoga in a sensible, secure way going forward. What is published About Mudras? In April 2014, a study of the literature revealed that there were no peer-reviewed studies that specifically examined Mudras as a phenomenon or a treatment variable. There are a few Kundalini studies that included Mudras, mantra, and motions, but the practice was not limited to Mudras, nor was there any written study of the theoretical underpinnings of Mudras. A survey of the few books on Mudras showed that, aside from descriptions of the relaxation response and basic models of potential explanations, no discussion was made that took into account the complexity of human movement and behavior. How Might Mudras Work? The most recent scientific research disproves outdated viewpoints like: The components models of the right and left brain, Brain as consciousness, and Isolated anatomical function and location by revealing a level of complexity and integration of form and function. Epigenetics, neuroplasticity, and interpersonal mind discoveries—which were merely theories at the turn of the century—are now recognized as truths. Science's reductionist approach has revealed an integrative reality that offers a wide range of hypotheses for the function of Mudra. The focus of this essay is limited to a long list of concepts meant to elicit more inquiries.
