video thumbnail
This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Our lifestyle must be designed sustainable in order to find better solutions to economic, environmental and social problems.
For this to happen, a deep rethinking must take place. On the subject of mobility and energy we need solutions that enable us to self-sufficient energy supply. Via a common "open source platform" we could succeed.
Talk language: English.

Gianfranco was always fascinated by the automotive industry. In 2007 he became the first investor believed in the vision of Henrik Fisker and Bernhard Koehler. The project "Fisker Automotive" was started and in less than 4 years of development, has launched the first plug-in hybrid sports car coupe in the world, "Fisker Karma". In February 2014 Fisker Automotive and was sold to Chinese group Wanxiang. Since then, Gianfranco operates worldwide as a consultant in the automotive and industrial sectors.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
