Search and rescue operations are underway in Sichuan, after heavy rains across the Chinese province triggered floods and landslides. At least six people are dead, and around 100,000 affected. Lifeboats were used to rescue those stranded, and people too frail to be transported by them were evacuated by professional scuba divers. The authorities have warned of more torrential rains and landslides in the coming week.
