Movies and historical facts don’t often go hand in hand. But historical epic movies have made Hollywood millions if not billions of dollars. Movies like Braveheart and countless Robin Hood reenactments have raked in big bucks and accolades.

But there are movies that completely cross the line of bending historical facts for the sake of entertaining moviegoers and making money at the box office. Yes, movies are supposed to entertain, but not rewrite history and present it as the truth.
