Swedish director Ruben Östlund's TRT co-production film Triangle of Sadness won the Palme d'Or at the 75th Cannes Film Festival this year.

The 75th Cannes Film Festival, held this year in the city of Cannes in the south of France, ended with a ceremony.

The awards were determined by a nine-member jury chaired by the French actor Vincent Lindon and presented at the closing ceremony held Saturday at the Grand Lumière Theater in Cannes.

GOLDEN PALM

The Palme d'Or with Ruben Östlund's Triangle of Sadness won the night, while Chan Wook Park won the best director award for his movie Decision to Leave.

GRAND PRIX AWARD

Second place Grand Prix was shared between Close (Lukas Dhont) and Stars at Noon (Claire Denis).

'The Water Murmurs', which won the 'Golden Palm' award in the Short Film category, is directed by Jianying Chen.
