Welcome to my "Let It Be" Guitar Lesson + Tutorial, by The Beatles. This is one of the easiest songs you can play on guitar (what easy 4-chord song isn't?) It uses C, G, Am and F (the most common chord progression ever) and the 2nd most common strumming pattern ever. This rock classic is perfect if you are a beginner who is just getting started on guitar, but I also included some embellishments and easy walk-downs to play the interlude, for those of you who are past the beginner stage.

The lesson begins with the chords. This song uses the most common chord progression ever, in the key of C so it's a very easy song to play on guitar, using many of the basic open chords.

We discuss the switching and how to play F in the easiest way possible without barre chords. That's what makes this the easiest way to play Let It Be on acoustic guitar! Once we've worked out the chord shapes, we play the chord progression together, slowly, to work on rhythm and counting.

The strumming pattern is one of the most common strumming patterns ever. It's really simple - we just play it one time on each shape. We add it to our chord progression and then we play through the verse.

The chorus requires an easy walkdown for guitar. We go from F and walk down to C - it's just two notes and a little bit of strumming. It's much easier than the chord melody version that I posted a few years ago. We add that to our chord progression and play the chorus together nice and slow.

The only section left is the interlude and this requires one more walk down we walk down from C to G. Once again, it's just a two note baseline with a little bit of strumming. We put it all together and that's it!
