Conservative party chairman, Greg Hands, kicked off the Tory party annual conference on Sunday (1 October).

Kicking off speeches on the main stage at the Tory conference, Greg Hands said: “This is likely to be a general election where the Conservatives enter as the underdogs."

As the conference started, protesters marched through the streets of Manchester to rally against the Tories.
