Can life exist in our solar system beyond earth?
Can life exist on mars or venus? Can life exist on the moons of gas giants (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune? These questions have been the primary concern for astronomers and astrobiologists for the past 2 decades. Scientists have been extensively mapping and exploring Mars and Venus. In this exploration water has been found either in the form of vapor or solid. Liquid Water is a common target for the researchers when it comes to search for life. The moons of the gas giants have been the primary target for liquid water under their surfaces. Intelligent life may be absent beyond earth but microbial life still remains a possibility with liquid water either in the present or future. In this video we explore the possibility of life on, Mars, https://youtu.be/YW8MeePLSDY Venus https://youtu.be/6RhSqnai3sc Jupiter’s Galilean moons of Ganymede, Callisto and Europa, https://youtu.be/s5LKMn03maw Saturn’s moons Titan, Enceladus, and Mimas, https://youtu.be/vo-YnKVh6fQ Uranus’s moons Miranda, Ariel, Umbriel, Titania, and Oberon, https://youtu.be/PPULO84iyfc Neptune’s moon Triton, Ceres and other worlds. Astronomy studies planets, the solar system, galaxies, stars, nebulae, comets, asteroids, black holes, quasars and meteors among many objects in the universe or cosmos. Similarly cosmology studies the birth, existence and end of the universe. Our solar system consists of the planets mercury, venus, earth, mars, jupiter, saturn, uranus and neptune. Beyond the planets in our solar system there are dwarf planets like pluto, ceres, eris, humea, makemake. The solar system also has comets, asteroid belt, kuiper belt, multiple moons or natural satellites. #solarsystem #mars #venus #space #astronomy #astrobiology |
