Both the Stryde bike and the MYX Fitness bike are great indoor cycling bike choices. This video showcases the similarities and differences between these two popular peloton alternative indoor cycling bike choices. At first glance you may not be able to spot the major differences between these exercise bikes, but there are substantial differences once you begin to look beyond the surface.

The Stryde bike is a magnetic resistance bike with a 30.5 lb flywheel while the MYX II bike is a friction resistance bike with a 41 lb flywheel. The MYX II requires a $29 per month subscription with either BODI by BeachBody or OpenFit, while the Stryde bike does not require a subscription at all, nor does the stryde bike require you to commit to any particular platform. While you can use the peloton digital app on the stryde bike, you can also use the built in native Stryde software on the stryde bike.
If you want an indoor exercise bike to use the peloton app with, the MYX bike is not going to be the best option for you, but the stryde bike is a worthy contender.
The MYX II bike is a bigger bike, and offers more adjustability and fit for taller individuals as well as short riders.
