Today, I'm watching 'The Menu', a Dark Comedy/Thriller from Searchlight Pictures that premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. #TodayImWatching #TheMenu stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Ralph Fiennes, and Nicholas Hoult.

The Menu deals with the us versus them of the working class versus the super-rich One Percenters who frequent expensive, high class, boutique restaurants. Ralph Fiennes plays our head Chef, 'Julian Slowik' a highly decorated and Celebrity Chef of 'Hawthorne', a high-priced restaurant on a private island. Nicholas Hoult plays 'Tyler' a food critic who's also a fan boy/super fan of Chef Slowik. Anya Taylor-Joy plays Margot Mills, Tyler's date for the evening, who was a late replacement for his previously announced guest at Hawthorne.

John Leguizamo, Reed Birney, and Judith Light also star in this film from Director Mark Mylod.

The Two Things I'm looking out for are:

1. How does Anya Taylor-Joy's role as Margot pan out??!! It appears from the trailer that Margot is our point-of-view character for the film. Is the first to die? The sole survivor? Or, something else entirely?
2. Is 'The Menu' more of a Dark Comedy or a Thriller??!! And, is The Menu biting social commentary, or just good fun poking fun at rich and poor alike??!! Also, does The Menu have fun and creative kills, like The Hunt, and Final Destination.
