Here's the FOX NFL Sunday report at halftime for Week 11 of the 1997 season. Following a brief WTVZ plug for reruns of Frasier; we go back to Raljon, Maryland (a spot near Landover, MD that houses the newly-opened Jack Kent Cooke Stadium -- the location name was actually a combination of the names of Cooke's sons Ralph and John. The Raljon references were apparently scrubbed when Daniel Snyder took over; using Landover as the site name to refer to the location of what's now FedEx Field) where Thom Brennamanan plugs the Dockers Halftime Report.

But first, as the saying goes, a word from our sponsors; which include a FOX plug for a new episode of the Simpsons featuring Homer as a football coach (what could go wrong here?); a new King of the Hill promo; an NFL/United Way spot featuring Detroit Lions wideout Herman Moore; and a FOX plug for the PrimeStar World International Skate Champions Series (following the game) before we get to the actual halftime report (sounds like Dick Ervasti is doing an Ernie Anderson impression here) and JB, Terry, Howie and Ronnie.

HALFTIME SCORES (final scores mentioned)
Washington 13; Detroit 0 (Redskins romped 30-7; Scott Mitchell already KO'd due to leg strain -- 3rd string QB Matt Blundin briefly appeared in the 4th after backup Frank Reich went down, threw a INT returned by Darryl Pounds for game-clinching TD, and Reich came back in)
Dallas 10; Arizona 0 (early 3rd quarter; Cowboys did likewise to the Cards; winning 24-6)
Minnesota 21; Chicago 10 (Vikings win close one 29-22)
Green Bay 3; St. Louis 0 (Packers win 17-7)
Tampa Bay 17; Atlanta 7 (3rd quarter -- Falcons add a field goal as Terry spoke; the rapidly improving Bucs win 31-10)
Miami 14; N.Y. Jets 10 (Dolphins win 24-17; in the process resulting in 3-way tie {Jets; Dolphins; New England} for first in AFC East)
Jacksonville 24; Kansas City 3 (Jags won 24-10; surprising to see the Chiefs down this much during the Schottenheimer era)
Cincinnati 7; Indianapolis 7 (Bengals won 28-13; the 2nd of 6 wins of their last 8 with Boomer Esiason back in Cincinnati)

Following things are a FOX NFL Sunday ID; plugs for AIG; Optima Health (part of the Sentara HealthCare operations); Pontiac Firebird Trans Am and WTVZ promos for Vibe (short-lived talk show based on the Quincy Jones-founded urban magazine); Frasier and the Simpsons
