How Did We Get Here? | Minecraft's Hardest Advancement | Hardcore Minecraft ep. 32 |
|
Today I WILL be completing the “How did we get here?” advancement in my Hardcore Minecraft world, the hardest advancement in the game. To earn it, I must obtain every in-game status effect at one time totaling to 26 effects. I went into this challenge without much knowledge on the process which made the grind much more punishing, but in the end, extremely rewarding.
For “How did we get here?” I begin by gathering all of my potions. Many potion effects can be obtained with a beacon, so I opted for that route when I could. Secondly, I either needed to move a shulker to the overworld or a dolphin to the end to be able to earn levitation and dolphins grace rapidly. From there I needed to plan a route in which I fight a raid, get bad omen, and get mining fatigue before returning to my dolphin and shulker to apply potions. Additionally, I needed to build a conduit nearby. With the route planned, structures built, and ingredients in place. I was ready to start attempting “How Did We Get Here?” I hope you enjoy the video! If you do, be sure to subscribe to follow along with the journey to day 2000!
