Finance Minister Ishaq Dar called on President Arif Alvi at the President House in Islamabad on Tuesday. The meeting came in the backdrop of reports that in order to comply with the IMF conditions to generate additional revenue, the government was all set to bring the first Tax Amendment Ordinance, 2023, and approval, the ordinance would come into effect from February 15.
